日本らしさを感じられる穴場の旅行先

外国人旅行者は、時間と費用の問題で行きやすい観光地に出向きますが
実際には少し離れた町に本当の日本らしさがあると感じているようです。
日本に旅行した外国人に、まだ旅行者があまり知らない日本の魅力ある場所について質問したところ、
四国を勧めるコメントが多く「特に、四万十川や四国お遍路八十八カ所巡礼などが素晴らしい」といった意見や、「四国を旅する外国人は少ない。たまたま2年間四国に住んでいたが、温泉を楽しんだり、キャンプやボートで川下りをするなど、アウトドアライフを満喫した。景観は山々と海に囲まれ、本当に美しい。機会があればもう一度四国を旅したい」など、四国の良さを紹介するコメントがつづられていたそうです。
東京では浅草や秋葉原などの日本を代表する観光地以外の場所、「三宿や代官山、三軒茶屋や下北沢、
吉祥寺などに行くことを勧める」といったコメントや、「東京から短時間の船の旅で行ける伊豆七島や大島、

Tori no Ichi Fair (open-air market) is a annual event in November on the day of the Tori (Rooster) in Chinese calendar and this event has continued to today since the Edo period.
The day of the Tori (Rooster) comes every 12 days in November and generally, the first day of the Tori is most important. However it is said that a fire is likely to take place in the year that the day of the Tori has 3 times.
A special thing on Tori no Ichi was "Bamboo Rake for good luck". A highly decorated bamboo rake was particular popular as goods to bring happiness and prosperity in business. It is said that to bring happiness for New Year is to change a bigger bamboo rake year by year.
Suga Shurine near Yotsuya BG is also one of famous shrines of this Tori no-ichi festival. As you can enjoy its distinct personality, please go to appreciate one kind of Japanese festival.

書籍の通販でおなじみのアマゾン・ドットコム。
ご利用の方も多いかと思いますが、そのアマゾンの電子書籍端末「キンドル」がこれです。
ダウンロードした書籍が、電子画面で読めます。
アメリカのアマゾン・ドットコムは、ベストセラーの上位10作品について、キンドル向けの電子書籍を購入する顧客がプリント版を購入する顧客の倍以上だと発表しました。
しかも、ベストセラーの上位25冊、100冊、1000冊についても、電子書籍の購入部数がプリント版を上回っているということです。
さらに、2010年の9月末までのキンドル向け電子書籍の販売数が、前年同期比で3倍を超えたのです。
まだ日本語の書籍は読めませんが、キンドル自体は日本語の文字にも対応しているので、近い将来日本語の書籍も読めるようになるのではないでしょうか？
重くてかさばる本を持ち歩くわずらわしさにさようなら…
でも、やっぱり紙で読んでこその趣もあるような…

名古屋城お堀めぐり

名古屋開府400年記念事業の一環の名古屋城のお堀を手こぎ和舟で巡る「名古屋城お堀めぐり」が

今月8日から始まったこのイベントは、船頭がゆっくりと和舟を竹ざおでお堀をこぎながら運行する。
和舟に乗った人たちの感想は、「心地良い風を感じながら、普段見られない角度（下から見上げる）
から天守閣ややぐら、石垣を眺めることができる」と連日、大にぎわいをみせているそうで。。。
今月31日までのイベントなので、、お近くの方や名古屋に行かれる予定のある方は、ぜひ乗ってみて
ください。歴史が得意な方も、そうではない方も歴史の風情を味わいながらゆっくりと秋の風を感じ
てみるのもいい事ではないでしょか？
私は、歴史好き（特に戦国時代）なので、近ければ本当に行ってみたいと思います。

"The 9th DREAM YOSACOY Festival" will be held in October 30th and 31st.
The DREAM YOSACOY is one of the largest and most sophisticated festivals in Tokyo.
Aiming to extend Japan’s dream from Tokyo to the world, the festival features about 7,500 dancers
from 102 teams who fascinate 500,000 spectators with their dance performance in colorful costumes.
Since its start, the festival has been organized by citizens in Tokyo and neighboring prefectures
who are passionate about promoting Yosakoi dance, one of the Japanese traditional folk festival
dances originated in Kochi Prefecture. While the festival is best known as a popular citizen-based autumn event in Tokyo’s waterfront area, the festival was expanded to the Tokyo Marunouchi Nakadori
Avenue last year, and a new satellite site is further added this year in the vicinity of JR Yurakucho

世界パスタデー！

今日は、世界パスタデーだという事をご存じですか？
1998年に制定されて、パスタの魅力を広くアピールするための記念日です。
そこで、好きなパスタのアンケートを取ったところ、男性・女性共に『カルボナーラ』が1位でした。
一昔前は、パスタという呼び名ではなくではなくスパゲッティでしたね。当時は、ミートソースか、
ナポリタンが主流でしたね。
今は、いろいろな種類のパスタがあり、味付けもトマトソース、クリームソース、和風などその上、
具材でもかなり味付けが変わり、毎日食べても飽きないのではないでしょうか？
私は、たらことバタースパゲッティが一番好きで、その他は魚介とトマトソースのペスカト―レ、
あさりのボンゴレなど、どちらかというと魚介を使ったパスタが好きで、家でもよく作ります。

Omotesando Hills is located in near Omotesando station which is the next station from Shibuya.
Originally, this area was developed as the trendy fashion area. There are so many retail clothes shops or makers for young clothes. Omotesando Hills is also fashion complex, and presents various topics for visitors. Several worthwhile and interesting events are scheduled this weekend.
For example, Nit-sewing exhibition will be held on Oct.22nd and 23rd.
On the other hand, The Girl chorus group of Czechoslovakia will specially present their beautiful performance at 15:00 on Saturday.
Halloween Party for kids and Spanish Wine testing are scheduled as well on Sunday.
It is the good season for going for a walk. Let’s go there!
